Auction Event Solutions has worked many Boys and Girls Club of Capistrano Valley events but this year things were different. With the COVID-19 pandemic happening when their annual Gala was planned to take place, they had to switch gears.
This year they jumped to action and shifted direction and held a live streaming virtual gala. Something most of us had not heard about until recently. With the COVID-19 shut down happening right at the start of the spring season we were pushed into this new world but now that we are in it, we like it.
BGC Capo Valley held their Virtual Gala on May 15th, all their guests came together virtually, and AES was onsite behind the scenes. The event was live via a YouTube Stream and Zack Krone of California Coast Auction kept the event fun and moving as their MC and Auctioneer. As the live event could only be a part of the fundraising effort, they also had a online silent auction happening the week up to and after the live event, AES helped with that part too making sure the data entry was in and the items looked and presented themselves well on the online auction site.
As scary as this uncharted area was the Boys and Girls Club of Capistrano Valley not only met their goal but surpassed it. What a victory in an uncertain time. If you would like to see what their Virtual Live Gala looked like, check out the video below!
